For partners and groups

Create encounters with us

For everyone who cares about people meeting each other more often, across borders too: companies and teams, clubs and initiatives, schools and universities, cities and twin-city partnerships, foundations, communities and creators. You bring a topic; we bring the place, the principles and the frame.

What we can do together

Three ways to take part.

Just for you

A round for your people

A fire or a letter round just for you: in your team across departments, offices and countries, in your club, your class, an exchange or with your twin city. Time for each other, and a chance to meet the people behind the roles.

  • Invitation by link, only you take part
  • Your topic and your own cards
  • At the fire with a firekeeper, voice only; letters without names
  • In German or English

Open to everyone

Your topic for everyone

You bring a topic to anyone who’d like to join: an evening by the fire that you help open as guests, or a week of letters for which you write the first one. Then people who would otherwise never meet tell their stories and write.

  • Your mark branded into the wood, or a stamp we design with you
  • You donate the wood or the stamps: free for everyone
  • Visible, but quiet, with no advertising

Support

Keeping it free

Sitting by the fire alone and writing for yourself is free, and it should stay that way. Supporting it gives many people a little time for themselves, no topic of your own needed.

  • For foundations, companies and people who care about this
  • Named if you like, with no advertising in the rooms

How it works

From the first conversation to the evening.

  1. 1

    Getting to know each other

We talk about your topic and why it matters to you.

  2. 2

    Shaping it together

Topic, cards, invitation letter, stamp: we develop it together so it fits you and us.

  3. 3

    Inviting people

Just for you: you invite by link. Open to everyone: we invite our community and you invite yours, about four weeks ahead.

  4. 4

    The evening, the week

We hold the space. Afterwards you get a short review, without data on individual people.

What always holds

Even with partners, it stays a place for people.

The same principles

Our principles apply to everyone at the fire and in every letter, including you.

No data for you

You won’t learn who took part. You get numbers, not names.

Nothing is recorded

What is said at the fire stays at the fire. Letters carry no names.

Visible, but quiet

Your name is there, on the wood, the stamp, the mailbox. There is no advertising in the rounds.

What it costs

A flat fee depending on scope, paid by invoice. We’re small and will make you an offer that fits. Foundations and non-profits, please talk to us directly about it.

Questions

What does a partnership cost?

It depends on what we do together: one evening, a week of letters, or a series. We first talk about what you have in mind and then make you an offer. Payment is a flat fee by invoice.

Do we get data on the participants?

No. After the evening or the week you get a short review with numbers, such as how many people took part or how many letters were written. We never pass on names, addresses or content.

Can we speak ourselves?

Yes. At an evening by the fire you’re welcome to open the topic yourselves, together with our firekeeper. With letters, you write the first letter that everyone reads.

How far ahead do we need to plan?

For a round just for you, two or three weeks are usually enough. If it’s open to everyone, we plan about four weeks ahead so enough people can save a seat.

Does this work in English too?

Yes. Evenings and letters are available in German and English.
